In organic chemistry, students have traditionally struggled with visualizing reactions in 3-D. 3-D online tutorials have been used to help guide students through the visuospatial problem-solving process, yet students have still struggled. This presentation will contain student responses from interviews and think-alouds during their use of a 3-D interactive tutorial using Jmol structures from Models 360 on the ChemEd Digital Library. These qualitative results have been tabulated and will be presented.
