This workshop will highlight chemistry experiments which utilize our SpectroVis Plus VIS-NIR CCD array spectrophotometer/fluorometer. Experiments will include all types of spectroscopic analysis including visible absorbance spectral analysis, Beer’s law, kinetics, emissions, and fluorescence. Attendees will determine an equilibrium constant, kinetic rate laws, the activation energy of a chemical reaction, and the product purity of an organic lab-synthesized compound. The workshop will feature the LabQuest Mini interface with our Logger Pro 3 software and our popular handheld data-collection solution, LabQuest. You can also use LabQuest as a stand-alone device. Its built-in data collection App and vivid color touch screen provide unmatched versatility. LabQuest can also be used as a computer interface. Appropriate for college and high school chemistry; 1.5-hour session.
